Hiking tour: Sentiero Vernetti

Short, varied hike through a forgotten region with a lush vegetation, passing the two farmhouses in Grange Mezza Comba that have been abandoned for twenty years and that were formerly occupied in the summertime. Then a steep descent through the forest to the mountain stream Marmora, afterwards a flat part to the old bridge of the former road that connected Ponte Marmora and Vernetti. – The path to the Grange Mezza Combe and back is a recommendable easy hike.
At the suggestion of the writer, the path has been awoken from its Sleeping Beauty slumber with the support of the local authorities and volunteers in April 2007.
