Pathless Tour: Punta Tempesta

Colle Sibolet (2532 m), Punta Tempesta (2679 m), Punta la Piovosa (2601 m)

This is a long, easy and beautiful hiking tour on a mountain ridge overgrown with grass with a steady view on the Monviso in the distance and into the neighbouring valleys. The tour is mostly pathless but nevertheless the route is discernible. For persevering hikers this tour is an unique pleasure.

Start:
Junction (1865 m) to the Alp Oliveto, 9.7 km above Marmora-Vernetti

Altitude difference:
+ 800 m, - 1000 m

Time needed:
7 ½ hours.

Level of difficulty:
Easy tour, which nevertheless requires endurance, a good sense of orientation and sure-footedness.
